This is why people don't bother with boxing anymore. It's not about proving you're the best and making a statement on the ring, it's all about how much cash I can get out of the fans. First fight hasn't happened and he's already planning the second one...

I need to see some good fights after this statement...it hurts my heart.

    Think nothing of it
Well doesn't he say he's earned the right to call shots from his hard work? He is an Olympic champion and has 3 belts. Wilder can say neither. Wilder hasn't even had one unification bout.

I don't know what stage Joshua thinks he is at, but being that egotistical usually doesn't bode too well for fighters.
No, no, no. Joshua has three 3 major belts, wilder one. Joshua's defenses against better opposition make a lot more 💰 than wilder. So yes Joshua calls the shots right now.

Big deal (google it)! He owned up to it, turned his life around and now has the chance to be the undisputed champion of the world! Much respect to Anthony Joshua!!!

So tired of you d*#kmunchers talking about A side and B side, this promoter and that manager, will it happen in the UK or US, purse splits etc. Who the f#*$k cares????

There's been more talk about the politics of making the fight than the actual fight itself and the strengths and weaknesses of both fighters.

This is turning into another lame ass Pacman/Mayweather situation between the fans of the fighters. You know, the usual juvenile playground banter and back-and forth arguments with the classic lame ass name- calling/nicknames(Beyonce Wilder, chicken legs, windmill, joshualites).

Its a 50/50 fight and I like both fighters but it's even starting to get old with the fighters themselves. If I come across another headline about Joshua saying "he's in a power position" or he's "the A side" I'm gonna lose my f@$king mind. He's making himself look like a bi&*h because he's sounds more like a promoter than a fighter lately. And if Wilder feels like they're not serious about making the fight then MOVE THE **** ON. There are plenty of other quality/decent heavyweights to fight.

Don't know about you jacka@#es but im not gonna be strung along hanging on to every word spewed by the fighters and their teams in this situation. Not clicking on anymore useless articles. When the fight is signed and they're holding press events then I'll get my hopes up. Until then I'll leave this Mayweather/Pacman 2.0 to you thirsty mofos:****you:

This screams of someone who is bluffing and plans to take a different opponent. Even a notoriously difficult negotiator like Ward made sensible compromises to make fights work, because he WANTED those fights. AJ just doesn't want it and fand are protecting him with this "he has the right to..." Regardless what rights he has, his rigidity proves he's ducking.

***, even Mayweather, who was a MUCH bigger deal than AJ and had the right to call every shot, was more flexible than AJ.
