    Lots of trolls here.

But the headline was very misleading. Looking forward to things being solidified soon.

"At that stage". It doesn't get more condescending then that. I want dispute that Joshua is the a side, but realistically Wilder has been champion longer, has way more fights and defences, and will be the person that sells this fight. I don't know what stage Joshua thinks he is at, but being that egotistical usually doesn't bode too well for fighters.

This is getting ******. Yes Joshua is the A side and Wilder already agreed to a 60-40 split on Joshuas behalf and also agreed to go to the UK. What's the hold up?

Home advantage is all well and good, but let's see what MGM Resorts is going to be willing to offer for the fight first, especially with the real likelihood that Alvarez-Golovkin 2 is likely dead for 2018 and Las Vegas has no other blockbuster showdown to hang the hat on for the year.

For all of this 90k fans talk it's funny the gate revenue doesn't come close to a big fight in Vegas

“I think the first one has to be in the UK. I want to be able to call that shot because I’ve worked extremely hard to put myself in a power position when it comes to the negotiations, so hopefully, he’ll understand and come to the UK to get this fight on".

This is why people don't bother with boxing anymore. It's not about proving you're the best and making a statement on the ring, it's all about how much cash I can get out of the fans. First fight hasn't happened and he's already planning the second one...

I need to see some good fights after this statement...it hurts my heart.

                Think nothing of it

I think it's too much of a crap shot for MGM to get too involved with this fight right now. But if Wilder wins, then they'll come with truckloads of cash for the rematch.

The first fight ? So Joshua thinks he will not win then. But I understand there has to be a rematch clause in case he does lose.

None of the two is Mexican so it's irrelevant.
