Floyd spent his early career begging any big name he could for a fight. Guys just wouldn't give him the fight. Posters that hate Floyd like to pretend these were fake callouts to boost his name. The TRUTH is young Floyd was high risk, low reward and that is why big names wouldn't fight him. He seems to be trying to help Tank avoid this. I think he deserves kudos for that.

that i think vasyl lomachenko does literally eveyrhing better than davis other htan punch? no, that's no joke. he's got a better resume, is the more talented guy, will be a huge favorite if they ever fight. davis was being steered away from him for a reason. no that there's a fissure between davis and floyd you see floyd more willing to put his potential cash cow in harm's way.

You're entitled to your opinion and so am I. Boxing isn’t about what the other guy does better than the other on paper. Forrest did everything better than Mayorga and Mayorga won. Tank doesn’t have to do anyting better than Loma in paper. All he has to do is win. Tank is a very good offensive fighter period, and he’s a true southpaw. All that “steered him away from Loma” talk is over. They feel that he’s ready for Loma. Let them fight. The only thing that might hurt Tank is if they fight at 130.

I'll believe it when I see it. Right now I think Floyd is just using Loma's name to give Tank a boost. Can't see him feeding his undefeated former champion to the lions. He'll take a page out of his own career and steer him from any real threat until that threat has been mitigated by age, weight advantage or battle fatigue.
