If Hurd has back to back wins with Lara and Charlo, I’d say he deserves a shot.

I have a hard time believing Hurd can beat Charlo, I think Charlo may surprise some people.

All three guys have one thing in common, they are extremely skilled and difficult to outbox, and move a lot around the ring.

If Hurd fought someone like GGG for example, or Charlo, we can't say for sure that he'll fight the same way he fought those guys.
Yeah, after the Lara i started watching some of his fights even back at when he was 15-0!

What he did to Hyped prospect Galarza was big!

He's been an underdog in mostly all his big fights and comes victorious!

I think if/when he fights Charlo, he'll have to mix it up between boxing behind the jab and putting pressure while goin to the body cuz Charlo is very smart and throws accurate shots when you throw with him!

With GGG, i see him boxing early then making it an inside fight to try and wear GGG out!

Both are good fights but Charlo is on the radar and that's a tough fight but not sure if it will be tougher than the Lara one!

You're right that he'll have tto mix it up when he fights Charlo. He absolutely can't fight Charlo the same way he did his last three opponents because Charlo has mad power.

Derick James is really good at maximizing the KO potential of fighters, I remember when in this other interview he said that he made Spence change his style when he turned pro by working on punching technique and making him focus more on body shots so that they can get the knockouts.

It aint no surprise Charlo started knocking out opponents when he switched to Derick James from Ronnie Shields. He and his twin both have power, but his twin is just a freak of nature so the Ronnie Shields way of fighting still works for him...for now, but Jermell needed to and made the perfect switch to Derick James.

Nevertheless, can't wait for the Hurd vs Charlo freak show, coz let's face it, these two guys are machines and people are going to talk about this fight for ages. I genuinely believe it's going to light the boxing world up.

If he moved up in weight he can't afford to start slow like he did against Lara. These guys are bigger and less likely to wear down.

Hurd is almost no better than Dominic Wade. Incredibly sloppy and average. Golovkin ends his career prematurely....

I agree with everything you said, I hope Derrick James TOTY cuz his method is absolutely results driven which is what all young fighters want when it comes to the man in their corner!

It's a real good fight, 2 undefeated prime champions who's eager to prove themselves that their the best at 154!

I'm picking Hurd, i just think his will to win is gonna carry him!

Of course, Charlo has speed, power and technical ability advantages but let's see what happens when he faces a man who can counter him off the backfoot or grind him down with bodyshots and hooks or uppercuts nonstop!
