The people that said Lara won...how?

I've seen quite a few people say that Lara won the fight. I've even seen some insane scoring for Lara such as 117-110. What fight were people watching? Hurd was dominant virtually every round. I suppose some are always going to have a bias but come on man no way Lara won more than 3 rounds.

It was a competitive fight but a clear win for Hurd imo. He beat Lara up the second half of the fight. Im often puzzled by what people see in a fight. I look at it like 12 individual 3 minute fights, it becomes pretty easy to score a fight for me like that. It doesnt matter what boxer A did in the last round and nothing as far as scoring carries over from round to round to me.

Ive seen people saying on various social media outlets say that Lara won easy though, its mind bobbling.

I had it 7-5 Lara I gave Lara 1,2,3,7,9,10,11 but some were close.

Lara landed a lot of clean, crisp shots and many of Hurd's shots were off gloves and glancing. His body hook won him some points for sure.
I could see how people appreciated Lara's work but I think Hurd's pressure was effective aggression and that turned a few rounds his way.
Very good fight with both men performing well.

Close fight, but Hurd beat and busted Lara up and closed the show. I'm in line with the scorecards 114-113 or 115-112 for Hurd.

people on this site cant score fights. ive said it time and time again, they throw out crazy scorecards after every fight. theres usually a bias against the pressure fighters.

I scored it 114-113 for Hurd but i could see an argument for lara winning 114-113 as well

I thought Hurd clearly won and the knockdown in the 12th was the frosting on the cake. The fight was reasonable close and certainly not a one sided win for Hurd. Lara fought well and didn't run. He hit Hurd with clean hard punches throughout the fight. Scoring the fight for Lara wouldn't be a huge robbery. I thought Hurd clearly won because he threw and landed more punches in more rounds and was the attacker.

To certain hipster boxing fans, Lara could lose all 12 Rounds CLEARLY and they would still say he was robbed.

It was close and i at the most i'd give Lara 5 Rounds but no more and it would have been a travesty if Hurd had lost.
