It's funny how their career arcs went. Following the Froch fight and the loss the Jack, if you asked people who would win between Groves and DeGale in a rematch, everyone would say DeGale. But now, Groves has reinvented himself and DeGale has looked like **** in his last 6 fights and you ask them and they'll say Groves would beat him.

DeGale isn't beating anyone at the top level anymore. Benavidez, Ramirez, Groves, Eubank, Smith all beat him.

I think Groves beats Smith, and then Degale to unify. Always liked Degales skills, just not his work rate. Now age is catching up with him, & Groves is seeming to get better with age.

The Groves/Smith winner has been mandated to fight for the WBC fight.

Degale is washed up. Be nice to see him get battered by groves in a domestic. But it will probably endup a boring points win for groves again.

Although I'm not much of a DeGale fan, he earned my respect in this fight. Dude could have easily folded after the third, but he bit down and fought through some adversity. I feel it's clear he lost a step skill wise, but he showed heart in this fight and I can't hate on that.

Degale in 2018 would prob be stopped by Groves.

Wise move looking for that cash out. He suddenly needs Groves again.
