These boxing fans don't know what they want
Yes, but when Lomachenko needed a fight there was crickets. But when he moves up has opportunities, probably Linares/Pacquiao/Campbell/WBO Champion, all of a sudden Davis is ready.

I think Mayweather is up to something with the timing of this knowing Arum has plans for Lomachenko now. Loaded agendas anytime he says anything.

He wants the fight now because Tank was talking bad about Floyd.

Todd from top rank confirmed him and Floyd talked

If Davis moves up to 135 next then why not?
Loma and Mikey are there if Floyd wants to feed Davis to someone.
Assuming Mikey stays at 135. It seems like he can't make up his mind at the moment.

Either way, he could carry on the way he is and still be considered a great of this era so I’m sure he’s cool with it.
          right?
I'm a big fan as well and by no means I was bashing on the guy. I just really, really want to see him fight in his top condition. It's a waste.

If you stop to think about it we have what? 2 to 3 years of top Loma, so that leaves us with 6 to 9 more fights.

          what a shame

Floyd does not set the doping standard, and from his comments about Canelo he knew his USADA testing had big holes in it. Maybe that is why he demanded it and was against VADA testing so he could dope all he could.
All of those are the reason why the fight didn't happen. It's documented

Floyd just wants to get some attention for his next card, Davis vs Cuellar, Loma moved up in weight already, no way Floyd puts him in with Davis, its just a warning sign because Tank badmouthed Floyd on social media.

I may not be a warning. We might see Floyd pull an Arum here and put the young guy on the shelf if he doesn't take the fight. This will be interesting as it unfolds.

Well, Loma makes you quit but he doesn't KO you. So people are likely to want to fight him more than, say, GGG who was shamelessly avoided as a champion.

Tank probably can't make 130 anymore. What big fights are there for him at 135? Mikey isn't there full time, and he could KO Tank. Linares is engaged. Beltran could potentially win and won't bring much money. So why not make a Loma fight?

If somehow Mayweather wants it at 130, that's another story. But if they ask for the fight at 135, ain't nothing wrong with that.

Tank may actually become a better fighter after losing to Loma.

                    So let's hope it happens.

It would be great but I don’t see Davis accepting the challenge
