Poor thread. What's the point of posting this stuff? You just come off like a w4nker, which I'm sure you are.

I'm in the UK and have to respectfully protest. Some Brit fighters that deserve recognition: Lennox, Hamed, Froch and Saunders. Calzaghe was alright.

AJ is one man in a country of 66 million. He could no more give the UK a bad name than he could give it a good one. He's been a positive force for UK boxing, but whatever your opinion of him as a boxer or a man he remains an individual, not an avatar of the UK and the rest of its population.

A little bit of national rivalry can be fun and it livens up boxing as much as any other sport. That doesn't mean you can't keep it in perspective. An excess of nationalism is an ugly thing to witness and on a forum it leads to infantile posting.

I get that there are offenders on all sides and at times I'm as guilty of it as the next person but it's getting really tedious now, especially when it's stopping good discussions about the fights themselves.

Not one #1 p4p fighter in the history of Britain... that’s just sad.
Calzaghe is his name ******. It is not an object.

His best win is Hopkins actually.

No one in London takes AJ seriously? That's news to me.

Americans are the ones who decides P4P position. They are the most biased people out there.

Last, but not least... You're a mong.
