Hurd was not 1 pound heavier than Lara.

Tale of the tape weigh ins happens on Saturday morning, so Hurd has more than 12 hours more to rehydrate after weigh in. So we don't know how much he weighed more than Lara. I like Hurd but I'll be real that this Hurd is only 1lbs heavier is B. S

All of the tale of the tape weights are the morning of? Any documentation about that? I'm curious.

well then that's Lara's fault for not re-hydrating more and letting a man that drained himself all of those pounds outwork him.

He's lying. The IBF rehydratuon clause weigh ins were done the morning of the fight, but tale of the tape weigh ins are done much later.

That's what I always thought, too. That's why I asked for documentation.

Never heard of boxers going to the venue in the morning to get weighed, coming back home, and arriving again later closer to fight time. Nothing like that besides the IBF weigh-ins, as you mentioned.

What were there in-ring weights? Hurd is a huge LMW. He looks bigger than DeGale and Truax who are 2 weight divisions above him.

Lara was half a pound heavier in the weigh-in.
                  Yet Hurd still looked big.
Maybe he's one of those people who just naturally looks big.
Regardless, it's not like this fight was forced on Lara.
Decubas and Lara pursued this fight because they're looking for another green guy to cherrypick.
                  Fans wanted Charlo or Andrade.
