Why nobody is crying about the extreme advantage in weight of Hurd?

Guy looked like a 168 pounds.

He had an extreme advantage in weight.

    And nobody is crying.

But with Canelo all the world was crying.

Did they do fight night weights? I missed the tale of the tape.

He followed all the rules by the NSAC and the belt organizations. What's there to complain about?

Only one way to settle it.

Hurd vs Canelo in Cancun on PPV.

          158 catchweight.

A fighter has every right to fight in any division as long as he follows the rules established and agreed upon.

It's not preferable, but whatever. Not like weighed over the limit. Or agreed to fight for a title but didn't do morning weigh in.

Hurd needs to get on testing. I have serious doubts he's clean.

                    So what?

It's not preferable, but whatever. Not like weighed over the limit. Or agreed to fight for a title but didn't do morning weigh in.

Lara agreed to fight him knowing it's possible Hurd can weigh in at any weigh after they meet the 154 limit.

Whether he weighed in 155 or 200, Lara knew and accepted that risk. On the flip side, Lara has every right to drain himself to 130 and weigh back at 160 come fight night.
