Hurd was the better man tonight. He beat Lara up and forced him to fight his kind of fight. This was an entertaining scrap. J-Rock looked excellent tonight too, and that was lots of fun to watch. Awesome night of fights!

I think Hurd concussed or badly hurt him. That big right Lara ate at the end of a round. He gave a poker face, but I think he was hurt. He came out the next round and started getting beat on and it was a war from there, when he was cruising before.

I’ve been following this game for a long time. I’ve seen my fair share of guys with iron chins. But I haven’t seen one yet with an iron body. Spence would chop that big tree down and then dispose of him.

Although I hate to see Lara run and was rooting against him. He didn't run. He held his ground. Going into the 12th Hurd was trailing on all three scorecards but he floored Lara with a crushing left hook in the waning seconds of the fight tp give him the winning margin of 114-113 on two scorecards. The third judge had the fight 114-113 for Lara.

Fight of the year candidate 4 sure!

Give the man a rematch!

I had Lara up with one round until the KD. He caught hurd early on with some precise powershots and boxed nicely while Hurd moved forward using his bigger size.
I believe Lara lost the fight in the 2nd half but he already had an uncomfortable look on his face going in to the 4th or 5th. He looked tired and out of place. Maybe Hurd caught him with a good shot I didn't catch? Have to see the fight again.

Hurd just seemed to put more "hurd" on Lara and even though Lara (IMO) landed the more flashier and precise punches he couldn't get Hurd off of him.

Great fight and nice win for Hurd. I just don't think he can solely rely on his size and power against Charlo. He needs to be more cautious and not get hit that often.

Great heart on display from Lara. He gets too much hate here for whatever reason.

Good...glad Hurd won. At least he comes to fight. Lara on the other hand stinks up the joint with the exception of this fight. Hopefully this is it for his old ass. Cubans are havin a rough one...Rigo quittin like a b1tch, Lara gettin dropped and losing, Ortiz getting ktfo, etc....Cubans are anti action for the most part. I am glad to see them slipping.
