Hurd clearly won he barely made it outta the last round. Can’t stand when a fighter like Lara complains that he should’ve won. He got dropped and beat down. Like Canelo complaining he beat GGG yea right. Man up and admit you lost! Great fight both guys left it all in there

Hurd beat Lara up, all fight long, Lara was landing the cleaner shots, but Hurd was punishing him to the body, and it broke Lara. The fight reminded me of the 1st Cotto/Cheato fight in so many ways, Lara was a dead man walking by the 12th.

Hurd is the man at 154, won't have a long shelf life, but it will be fun while it lasts!

it was a close fight. Hurd threw a lot of punches, but throwing punches doesn't = winning a round. you've got a land and he wasn't landing much early on. Punches on the gloves and elbows aren't scoring blows. We're on a boxing site with people that watch boxing and people still don't know how to score fights haha. I scored it for Hurd btw by a point. Lara gave away too many late rounds and then a knock down. I knew he would dispute it. in a rematch he would get beat worse. He's getting old

The problem with your point is that Hurd WAS landing. My own eyes, the punchstats and Lara’s lumped up eyes and diminished punch resistance as the fight wore on verify this.

That facts that alot of his punches getting blocked and Hurd landed a lot can BOTH be true.

That was a really good fight, i think that was the most exciting fight Lara took part in, better than the Angulo fight. I was already high on Hurd and now he got a new fan, cant wait till he walks down Charlo and knocks him out.
