Taylor should copy Winky's defense: keep those hands up to cover the entire face...just pop the jab and throw a straight right hand occasionaly.

I really think Jermain might need to get in on the inside and use one arm to pull/grapple one of Winky's hands so that he can land those punches clean.


He could also try to allow/see if Winky will open up a bit trying throw some combinations, then as Winky throws that second punch, throw a 3 hit combo yourself...It is really hard to get through those gloves of Winky, so no sense of wasting energy/power punches at the head, better to go to the body, and if you want to go to the head, either lure Winky in by allowing him to start to throw some combos of his own, or grapple/pull one of the gloves apart from the other to get your opening.

I would also like to see Taylor lean on him like Lennox did to some of his opponets

He can hurt Winky, maybe even wear him out so that in the later rounds he will be winded; but, Winky holds his hands real high, protecting his chin, with a tight defense, allowing few, if that, through his gaurd; which wears down his opponents because the exhaust themselves throwing to many punches.
