I’m sure a lot of fighters think like that, only difference being Wilder actually said out loud what a lot keep quiet about.

Condemning what he said, that’s fine, but take the rose tinted glasses off and step out of bubbleland, many fighters think like that and you’re very naive if you think it’s only Wilder...these guys are risking their lives when they step in the ring and when they’re in camp prepping and training for fights they’re not going to have thoughts of having teaparties and hugs and kisses on their minds, Lol WTF do you think their going to be thinking? It’s going to be brutal thoughts.
Good post. Wilder is a bigger man than me. I wouldn't apologize to anyone.

I think it was more the way he said it. He was matter of fact stating that he really wanted to kill someone in the ring and even reiterated it when that girl said he's not serious. It wasn't some off hand remark like Tyson. Not that big of a deal really...fighters can die any time they get in the ring and we all still watch. We want fighters to fight like they're trying to kill each other, but just don't want to believe they are.

That's frustration when you call out a duck.

This thing with Deontay seems somewhat similar, but Deontay isn't a legit bipolar fellow like Mike.
Tyson said he wanted to eat Lennox's children

but Lennox didn't have any children at the time

that's why nobody cared about the comment that much

Tyson ended up looking like a dumbass

If he has apologised why hasn't anyone else heard the apology? He didn't apologise, Pres wants it to go away.

                This is so overblown.

I remember James Kirkland said before his fight vs Joel Julio, he wanted his head. And unlike that clown Deontay wilder. James actually meant it.

Here it is at 4:10. These 3 part series is n James kIrkland was easily the best of the ring life series.

Young James Kirkland before he let the hype get to him was such a fun fighter to watch inside and out. I miss these HBO ring life series.
