I thought the same on this comment from Julio.

Pac hasn't been the same "young" fighter since the Cotto win. You can count his last amazing performance I suppose against Margarito but it's been all down hill since there.

Pac's amazing prime watching years for me were from the first Barrera fight to the Cotto fight. Had a blast watching every fight in between. Since Cotto, I felt he was deteriorating. Cotto took a lot out of him physically and Margarito probably put an exclamation on that.

Any win post Margarito fight that Pac picked up was meaningless at that point.

I agree in a lot of parts what you said there man, but wouldn’t say manny had no meaningful wins post Margarito. He still had a few decent nights in him and stamped his legacy into the books a little harder. He was still very much a great fighter. It’s only his recent couple of fights that it seems a bit ‘meh’ if you get me.

Manny needs to retire. Great fighter, but his time and even his era has passed him by. He’s nothing left to prove and owes boxing nothing whatsoever.

This is a good scrap. I'm rooting for Matthysse, but I think Pacquaio's speed is the deciding factor. If Matthysse can handle it, Pacquiao is getting busted up. If Matthysse can not, it's death by a thousand cuts.
