This has got "upset" written all over it - as much as it's belt holders fighting each other.

Lara has chosen mostly weak comp recent years. First thing that goes is your legs and he's 35 now. Lara, for all his footwork does get hit. He was even with Canelo for 1st half of fight but then just basically got on his bike because he couldn't stand the heat. Who here thinks that Hurd isn't more athletic than Canelo? He'll get to Lara and he punches hard.

For me it's just a case of how much can Lara take vs how hard can Lara hit/Hurd take because Lara's boxing skills won't take him out of harm's reach - he's getting tagged repeatedly and forced to engage.

Lmao what fight were you watching? Lara was running the whole fight and thought he boxed a masterclass. Dude isn’t popular and liked by the boxing fans for a reason, old bum who fights bums. He is the most boring fighter alive, his last fight he had fans leave the arena in the middle half of the fight.

Lara way more skilled but older and a little slower.....

I'm picking Hurd to win on aggression, size, youth and strength. Of course I Lara has way more skill that's a given but he's getting up there in years although he hasn't been in many wars so that'll help. I just don't see Lara being able to fight off a LHW in Hurd.

I don't think he will K.O. Lara cuz Lara can stick & move, go the distance & Hurd has NO defense. If Hurd can't catch him its going the full 12. Jermell & Hurd is a fight I would like to see too.

Big, big mouth. But a total coward in the ring. At least that was the story with Canelo, cowardice on wheels and then crying after losing the decision, clearly because he fought like a total coward.
