Comments Thread For: DiBella: Joshua Got Buzzed, Pulled Tape To Create His Timeout!

Promoter Lou DiBella, who works with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs), was less than impressed with how Anthony Joshua performed last Saturday night. Before a crowd of nearly 80,000 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs) went the distance for the first time in his career as he won a twelve round unanimous decision over Joseph Parker to unify the WBO, IBO, WBA, IBF world titles.

WTF? Kind of difficult to pull your tale without the use of fingers. Also was he hurt? Not remotely.

DiBella is being dumb here and sounding like an NSB troll.

Haha... worry about ur own fighter who was holding on for dear-life after being seriously hurt by an old slow Cuban ....so visibly hurt that the Dr had to SUPPOSEDLY chk him b4 allowing him to continue AFTER the timeout btwn RDS. And Ortiz is not a big puncher either!

Well i can see what Hearn was saying about wilder promoters, they’re hating on each other this idiot is saying all this so that the fight won’t get signed i really hate all this promoters and having more than 1 promoter is a big problem

I think most would of considered Ortiz the more threatening opponent out of Ortiz and Parker before their respective bouts. AJ went twelve with the less threatening opponent, deontay dispatched of the more threatening opponent within the distance in a much more entertaining bout. say what you like about ortiz being old and blood pressure etc but he was the consensus top 5 hw at the time and parker doesnt pack as much of a punch as Ortiz imo. so I wouldnt disagree with your assessment much really but its not really a "haha" laughing sort of situation by any means.

Come on Lou, don't say nothing bad about AJ. You know they're sensitive! Don't **** this up! Let Finkel do the talking! Don't give Hearn any excuses to delay this fight even more!
