he is responsible because not only is he responsible for his fight with ggg not happening in Sept, he left him with basically 4 weeks notice to choose another opponent. Please tell me 1 top fight that has happened with 4 weeks notice?

The guy has been training and is still in training and probably very frustrated. He wants to fight on the date laid out if for no other reason than to vent his frustration and still have some control over what happens to him.

Exactly. Golovkin has been training for the Canelo fight and wants to keep active. This May 5th fight is for that purpose. A fight with Saunders in the fall would be just right. After he unifies all the other MWs can step up and go after his belts. Perfect scenario.

viewing this situation any other way is childish

in politics, and in business, you judge someones motives by their results..... so if Golovkin insists upon keeping that date, and ends up fighting a bum..... then it is clearly obvious that he got what he wanted

1) it is pointless to somehow blame anyone but Golovkin, for a decision that was made by Golovkin..... he is well-aware what the result of blindly sticking to that date will be..... and that result will be the exact same result that we have become accustomed to seeing througout his career

it is hilarious if you guys think that is a coincidence

2) it is fkn hilarious how little Golovkin's "dream" seems to be worth..... first, it was worth about 1/3 what Kell Brook made for fighting Golovkin..... now Saunders cannot even seem to give it away
