lets be honest, the fight scene in vegas is so dull nowadays. i honestly rather see them fight at the barclays or msg.

can someone make a real argument for joshua-wilde rbing made in the us? the money is clearly in the uk. but how could they make that money up in the u.s. sponsors? this ain't no huge ppv in the states either.

tough decision, fight in a country where neither guy is known or fight in front of 90k where one is a superstar.

Stephen Espinoza(Head of Showtime Boxing) said it is a PPV Event if in America at Prime Time.Remember Showtime will be able to push this event through CBS etc. With Golovkin v Canelo off it leaves a clear path for them to take advantage off, it is the UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT TITLES, Both unbeaten, 2 KO Artists and involves a American.Thousands of Brits will also come over, so Vegas will certainly be rocking...

Been to vegas twice for boxing and its overated and over blown and all it has to offer is slot machines and tacky clubs.
90k at wembly is some spectacle and huge viewing ppv audience on sky and its been ages that the uk fan has had to travel and stay up late to watch there own fighter fight on usa soil.....now its our turn and we the A- side baby

££££=Location. That is Las Vegas and the US.UK PPV is tiny money compared to US PPV, Wembley Gates are Childsplay compared to Vegas Gates. This Fights going to Vegas...That way you are getting all the money in one pot, you get US PPV and UK PPV.However if this fight is in England, you lose out on US PPV as it would be a Afternoon start

how much you wanna wager the fight will be in the uk ? Do you know how ppv works in the usa gumbo....70 dollars a pop and half gets taken by the cable providers so its just 35 dollars to the t.v network who broadcasts it.......now canelo vs khan did 600k ....canelo vs smith did 350k ... ward vs kovalev did 190k and you think wilder who is not known to the casual in america who has never boxed on ppv and joshua who is still to be known in the states to make more than 500k....GTFOH wager with me what ever amount you want then

They’re going to end up doing it in London because Joshua don’t want to give up the hometown cooking.
But a fight this big should happen in the fight capital, Las Vegas.
The money they would make in Vegas trumps what they will make in the UK.
But from what I heard the first fight will be in the UK with the rematch in Vegas.
I’m just assuming there will be a rematch clause for both fighters.

lol@this idiot talking like he knows something

richard schaefer and many others who actually put fights together said to maximize profit it would be vegas

the gate will be bigger...chavez/canelo gate did bigger live gate than the last 5 AJ fights...or any AJ fight really

now if you have the fight in the UK you get no US ppv money...if it you involved the US in ppv its just a financial bonus

you are ignorant and dont realize this fight is picking up steam in the US....this will outsell ward/kova and canelo/liam smith(poor examples used by you)....this is more like khan/canelo......it will do similar numbers and that will equal alot more money added to the revenue

                    you are a dolt

what 3rd rate fights did you go to in vegas? cause ive been to actual mega fights out there and the atmopshere is electric....one of them included hatton and the UK fans traveled in droves and made the atmosphere great

"If they are looking short term I think fighting in the UK would be more profitable. If they are thinking of opening the US market to Joshua then do it in Vegas. Right now Joshua is hardly known here to the casual fan (read that as ppv buying fan)" 4truth

                      Correct.

But Joshua will dictate where the fight happens, and he will almost certainly go for London.
