0 way to prove Canelo or any fighter who doesn't do yr round testing is clean. Canelo does have some red flags that the wbc refuse to acknowledge though. Since he stopped fighting for wbc belt, vada testing was optional which meant Canelo had to sign on for vada, therefore he could dictate when testing started. Quite the benefit for someone if they were using because they'd know exactly when to cycle off. For Smith, Canelo declined vada testing (1st time Canelo made 154 in 3 yrs). He then signed on for optional vada vs Chavez jr and ggg but again, testing didn't start until he decided to sign. Now that he agreed to fight for the wbc belt again, testing was able to start randomly and not when Canelo decided to sign on for it. Coincidence? Maybe, but it doesn't look good.
