A book, or a TV series written from a B side perspective would be very illuminating. I know I would buy/watch it.

boxing is in a sad state.

UFC is better with their system. Champs can at least take home 6 figures now regardless if they draw or not. less fixed fights. less a-side, b-side bs.

He was one of the lucky B side fighters who after years of being B side and having numerous losses on his record was finally given a fair chance to fight for and win a world title and make decent paydays that late in his career, some B side fighters like him never get that chance and they just retire broke in obscurity or become punchimg bags, if he really knows the game he should be grateful for the situation he's in right now and for the chances he's been given.

Ishe is always talking about the business side of boxing. I don't know if he was reflecting or if somebody offered him a BS deal. If you read his last tweet it sounds looks like he got offered a bad deal.

I always wished that boxing could become more progressive with its pay structure. It's cool to see Mayweather earn $300 million in one night, and the event wouldn't be possible without him. But can't boxing change where Mayweather gets $250 million instead while the other $50 million goes to undercard fighters or is used to fund other cards.

Mayweather switched the game up to where he's raking in the money instead of the promoter, but which I prefer. But I still wish that money could be spread out among other fighters as well.

                  Very good post.

We all know the game is dirty as hell.

As much I love watching boxing, I'd never recommend anybody to ever go into it.
