Whyte vs Pulev as an eliminator was recently ordered by the IBF:

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom has confirmed that Dillian Whyte has been ordered to fight Kubrat Pulev in a final heavyweight eliminator under the International Boxing Federation (IBF). Whyte is already in the top rated position under the World Boxing Council, but the sanctioning body has yet to order him to fight current WBC world champion Deontay Wilder.

I don't think whyte quite has the technical skills or as much power as Ortiz, but I still think that fight could go either way given the youth.

The fight will happen and when it does, people will say that AJ never really wanted it and was forced into it.

Well wilder has a track record of talking big then fighting bums.

I am 100% sure the fight will have either happened or be on a contract at the very least by the end of 2018. I had a bet with Henning and the loser leaves town. I think I'll have that bet won 3-4 months early.
They did the same thing with Spence and brook, saying he was ducking. Then when brook signed for it, they said he had no choice and gave him no credit. I've even seen posters on here saying if it wasn't for YouTube channels Joshua wouldn't have been forced into negotiating lol

Utterly amazing. Just a special bunch.

Loma was ducking Rigo, then got no credit because he was "forced" but even though Rigo would wax him he got even less credit than ever after embarrassing Rigo and making him quit.

Too much money...too much risk in between...fight happens

AJ doesn't have many options left that don't imply a decent amount of risk with Povetkin and Miller on the horizon. I think he wins those fights but there's definitely risk with both those opponents. So fight in O2 Arena with 70-80K fans. Will say average ticket is $500 which gets you to $35-40 mil gate. Then you'll get another 1.5-2 mil PPV buys at $60 which is $90-120 mil. So we'll say $120 mil pot on low side to be conservative. $35 mil guarantee to split between fighter with AJ getting $21 mil and Wilder $14 mil with money on the back end. Yep they fighting, with a rematch clause option for both fighters.
