Eddie Hearn "Talks Have Stared For Deontay Wilder vs Anthony Joshua"

Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn is "very confident" the Deontay Wilder fight will be agreed after starting talks with the American's team.

"I saw Deontay Wilder's Instagram post and it's very confusing," Hearn told Sky Sports. "Whoever is supposed to be calling or emailing me needs to update their contacts because once again it was us initiating the conversation.

"I called Al Haymon's team yesterday and spoke with Showtime last night and discussions are ongoing.

"I have a meeting with Anthony [Joshua] and Trainer Rob [McCracken] tomorrow where we will map out the rest of 2018.

"I will say it once again, the window for fighting Wilder is 2018, otherwise we will risk it not being an undisputed fight.

"Anthony wants the fight and I'm very confident it will happen."

Wilder said earlier this week: "I accept that challenge and I am ready to come to the UK for my next fight. There is nothing on Team Wilder's side to prevent me from fighting you next."

Good. I'll forgive it not happening next but it HAS to happen by the end of 2018.

ive been saying eventually the public pressure will mount on hearn.....hearn couldnt even do a good job of hiding the fact he wanted no part of it ....he did a piss poor job of it and made it too obvious....but he couldntt resist cause he loves to hear himself talk

I'll believe this fight is going to happen when I see headlines that say: "Joshua vs. Wilder is official for ________"

Until then it's all just talk. There's always some B.S. that comes up. So I won't pay no mind until it becomes official.

You dont really want the fight bc your shook and wont have as much to post about bc Wilder is a large portion of the dementia you bring on here .

You will have to be put on suicide watch after Joshua hands him back to back loses ! lol

You havent even figured out yet that Hearn works FOR Joshua , not the other way around so short cuts could be made wuth the B.S Wilder $ games . Unseating him as champion puts a close to his mouth .

You see Wilder doesnt run his career ,hes not smart enough so he has about 4 guys telling him what direction to go . His last fight they are on record Deas and Dibella stating they wouldn't let Wilder fight Ortiz if they could prevent it and we all know why .

Its bc Wilder has been protected in 39 fights . You know that old saying be careful what you wish for ? Remember this post !
