Listen. The argument is the following.

BJS also has a fight scheduled, but he announced he would cancel it if GGG wanted to fight him in June. What about Murray then? Murray gets paid some money and it's no issue.
The same can do Charlo and Jacobs. It's totally doable, don't play dumb.

I said it plenty times before and I’ll say it again since it’s more in the light now

There is no group more naive/dksab/ and dumber than the canelo fanbase.

        Are you serious?

Jermall fights on the 21st and Jacobs on the 28th. They've already started training and their weight cutting routine. There's a routine to weight cutting and delaying their fights this deep into camp could throw their weights off and may not make weight or come in to weak from having to hold at that weight for so long.

Secondly the money isn't there. Spike is coming cheap that's why they choose him.

Both Jacobs and Jermall will be GGG's mandatory if they win their next fight. Why jump at a quick thing when you know you're guaranteed the fight? GGG hasn't fought a WBC mandatory since he got the belt so it's either Saunders for unification or Jermall next.

Doesn't make any sense for either one of those to cancel their fights this late in camp, especially when they know their shot is coming and they can have a proper build up to the fight. Wouldn't you as a GGG fan want to see a proper build up?

Is Jacobs in a position to be mandatory next?

Yes the WBA mandatory. But since GGG is the super champion they choose when to call a mandatory for their super champs. There is no set period if I recall.

Anyone who blames the clean fighter for a fight being cancelled is a ****ing idiot.

Yesterday there was a thread where some race bait alt-Tyrone DeShawn- was mad at Charlo for not calling out GGG and instead minding his business and concentrating on his fight on April 21st.

I actually thought that was a WesternChamp alt it was so ******ed.
I dont believe this is a real thread.

Plenty of sense here. There's a reason Charlo and Jacobs haven't thrown their name in the hat with Boo-Boo, Derevyanchenko and a number of others... that said while I understand O'Sullivan is both cheap and easy to make (coming courtesy of GBP apparently) at short notice I still think waiting on Saunders would have been the best option, or failing that getting the Derevyanchenko mando out of the way - not that either would be sure things any more.

Every top5 fighter is either a champion or close to be in mandatory position for some of the titles...
