    Canelo Did GGG A Favor

Pulling out now gives GGG no excuse to pick a bum as replacement.

Four weeks is a decent camp.

    the pressure is on now.

The fight won't be a T mobile anymore. It's now at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

all these guys are rumored replacements.

    1. Spike O'Sullivan
    2. Billy Joe Saunders
    3. Jermall Charlo
    4. Daniel Jacobs
    5. Demetrius Andrade
    6. Sergiy Derevyanchenko
    7. Zurdo Ramirez
    8. Yamaguchi Falcao

I would prefer they scrap May 5th altogether and get the Saunders fight for June but it seems they are committed to keeping that date.

In that case the biggest fight would be Zurdo at 168 for his belt. that should get top priority over anything else on that list.

after Zurdo the other logical choice is Sergiy. get that mandatory out of the way.

    after that its Andrade.

guys like Charlo and Jacobs both have fights coming up that nobody cares about but I don't hear them offering themselves. Charlo offered to drop the Centeno fight when Jacobs confronted him. so why isn't he willing to drop that when the biggest name in his division is searching for an opponent? did the lion get tamed? suspect.

Golden boy is the lead promoter. They not giving up that money bag and I doubt GGG will either after a whole training camp. He'll want to get paid from May 5 AND recoup whatever % was lost specifically from Canelo not fighting. Guaranteed it'll be O'sullivan

Many people say GGG picks this, GGG picks that... But how many of these actual top contenders were willing to step up and fight GGG when the time came? You got BJS saying I will fight, BUT not now... And many other clowns who post all their hubbub on Social Media, then when it comes the time to actually sign the papers and fight, crickets...

Once the smoke clears GGG and Canelo will fight. They might not want to challenge GGG to tough so the rematch has the same value or more because of this negative press.
