I feel his intentions are debatable, given the circumstances. However, I do think he should be suspended. If it's NSAC policy not to tolerate Clen, then treat him as a cheater.

PEDs make their way into meats, legal athletic supplements, etc. The ability to conjure excuses is too great so they either need to revise policy or stick to their guns and treat everyone equally.

While "doing the right thing in the first place" is lovely parenting advice, I don't believe Canelo has the ability to go back in time. Given the situation, he chose the more professional path of bowing out and letting Golovkin move forward. If he did the **** move of holding firm and not letting Golovkin salvage the event, you guys would be pissing yourselves, making threads about how uncool it was.

Sometimes, you gotta look at things like grownups do.

Did he have another choice? If he is guilty it would make a lot of sense backing out, hoping the testing will be easier towards him.

I doubt he did it because he is a saint, but rather he doesn't have any other options.
