the most popular? not really. if he was such a good promoter spence and jack would have a lot more attention and press. I've said it before he can't promote others only himself he's too selfish and petty to put others over. tmt has been around 10 years at least what superstar have they built?

Is this him complaining about his current situation with people wanting him to fight someone like Lomachenko?
It's probably not right for him to fight Lomachenko right now on a business side, but think of the experience It would give Davis by getting in the ring with such a classy operator, It did Gary Russell Jr no harm.

Theres a lot of things you can criticise Floyd for, but I dont agree with Davis here.

Pedraza was a perfectly timed step up. He won the fight by KO ffs.

Sounds like GD has had someone whispering in his ear tbh, maybe trying to drive a wedge between the two.

Idk all the details with this behind the scenes sh^t, but I doubt Tank was forced into anything. J'Leon turned down a DeGale fight. Mickey Bey turned down a big fight, idr who against. Both got sh^t on & rightfully so cuz NO ONE like a boxer who doesn't accept fights, but the reality is no one is forced to do sh^t. You can drop your belt & quit the business or just retire at any time.

And I figured something was up with Rodriguez he was like grand opening, grand closing with his Mayweather career. I'd love to know the behind the scenes with that cuz seemingly they shoulda worked, but that went sour/bad at record pace. I'm not sold on Mayweather being a Arum Jr type promoter quite yet since I think he gots a different can of worms with the guys he's picking up & they don't really have the option to be groomed over 3-5 years. And Floyd in general wants to throw you into the fire to see how good or great or neither you are which probably freaks a lot of boxers out in this snowflake era.

But maybe he is Arum Jr, but I need to hear more details over time cuz Mayweather Promotions is still a 3-4 year old promotion reallllllllly (ikik its been around a decade or w/e, but it was largely a entity for Floyd to promote his own fights not a standard run of the mill promotion) & the Dulorme one & some of the others sounded weak to me & I'd more likely say Floyd was the more reasonable guy in some of those previous disagreements I've heard before.

I wonder, if Davis' promoter would have been Arum, Oscar, or any of the European promoters, would everybody here still be blaming Tank?

Floyd is shady. Why anyone would do business with him is beyond me. Unless you are shadier and have leverage, like Dana White.

the clue of that company is in the name- its mayweather promoting himself. hes got absolutely zero interest in promoting them fighters, its all just a way of keeping his name in the spotlight.
