Comments Thread For: Jessie Vargas: Thurman Said 'No' - That Says A lot About Broner

He did. Then the phone rang with the type of fight he was hoping for an April 21 main event in Brooklyn's Barclays Center against Adrien Broner...

Didn't confuse me. Broner accepted on short notice, while Thurman ran for the hills.

I highly doubt Thurman would run away from Jessie Vargas, this guy comfortably beat by an old Pacman

Say what you want about Broner but he has balls.

Judging by the fights he's taken and the number of kids he's had, his big balls sure do get him in a lot of trouble, in both senses of the word...

Thurman said no to everybody. He was gonna fight TBA before his hand got bruised playing his flute too hard.
When he got the nickname One Time, I didn't think it would allude to the amount of times he'd fight a year

Old Pacman is still leagues better than Broner.

I dont think anyone is dis*****g that, but I would say Thurman is better than the current version of Pac and would school Vargas.
