    Exactly this. I don't think the commission will take it lightly if he just decides to fight elsewhere, even Mexico. Usually dudes recognize that they have to sit that out as a show of accepting their punishment.

      Canelo isn't fighting in Mexico. He has had chances to fight at stadiums in Mexico but it just doesn't generate the same amount of money as fighting in the United States.

        Only way 6 month suspension would be granted is if his dumb ass humbles himself in front of them and admits his mistake which I don't see him doing.

          Yea I know, but when that's the only option that he has they would take it. They'll come up with some type of way to promote it like they tried doing with Danny Garcia fighting in PR promoting it like it's a homecoming fight when he doesn't even speak Spanish lol

                That's my main point. The Texas athletic commission along with every other commission in the states will recognize the suspension coming from Nevada and won't let him fight there either.
