This is exactly why fighters shouldn't be forced to wait on fights. Fighters are forced to pass up on fights because the "A Side" don't want you to fight anyone until they fight, but then anything can happen. Injuries, sickness, family issues, or suspensions.

Yea Centeno sounded ok after the way he slept Aleem but then when you bring up J Rock and the fact he's been stopped before you realize Charlo needs to take Centeno out in impressive fashion or its a step back

GGG is always pretty composed anyways, but if you know your opponent is cheating his AZZ off, then maybe they think it is best anyways.

Maybe next time, Clenelo will hide his pill popping a little better.

If it stays on PPV it better not be against Sullivan, or even Andrade. Hell, as much as I'd like to see it, even Derevyanchenko doesn't have the name recognition to pull a PPV.

I'm afraid that this means they'll try to put Chavez Jr on the PPV. The much better name and something that makes 100% sense is getting Ramirez vs. Golovkin on Cinco de Mayo, but I can't imagine Golovkin doing that yet. Going up and down in weight never works, and if he wins (big if), he'll need to figure out what to do with 168 WBC title, which is its own set of problems. He also wont be able to claim his 20th title defense which is something they mentioned a few times.

On paper though, Ramirez is a great option. He's a legit contender, he's Mexican, and Top Rank is a major promoter that can step in to replace the muscle that GBP was providing.

There are enough good fighters at Middleweight that there is potential for a decent matchup. I get that they want to keep the date, but if they can’t get anyone good in time they should do the fans a favor and change dates

BJS to unify all the titles would be awesome. Jacobs rematch to clear any controversy would be great. Charlo or Derevyanchenko for a mandatory would be good and at least it would get one of those out of the way.

Andrade would be fine if no one else is available. Even a fight with Murata would be better than some of the names getting thrown around.

If they want to have him fight a Mexican for the holiday he should consider jumping weight and seeing if Gilberto Ramirez is ready... not JCC jr

I like GGG, but I don't want to see him fight more bums when the division has plenty of talent. Loeffler’s statement makes it sound like he just wants a stay busy fight to keep GGG active until they can land the big money Canelo rematch

I guess they could move the Linares-Loma fight to primetime on May12th cuz no one's watching the Clenelo-GGG re-run.

Saunders, Charlo and Jacobs were all signed up so Golovkin shamelessly targets O Sullivan ffs? This was a very calculated move by these clowns and we all saw it coming a mile away. Ridiculous.
I dont agree with Sully but come on with the "desperate to get pass" bs.
That's reminiscent of Wilder ducking Ortiz amd Povetkin. He'd be fighting Nelo, if Nelo didn't get caught!

Or better yet, how about they fight each other. We don't know what weight GGG/Ramirez would be at but if it's at 168, that would be pretty ****** to go up then back down one after the other.
