They had a made up catch weight for a 154-pounds belt at 150 against an average fighter who not only wasn't ranked wasn't even ranked in his actual division which was 147. Canelo decided he needed an extra edge and didn't make the weight.

There's way too much B.S around Canelo that it's going to be hard to restore a reputation.

Indeed. The Clenbuterol incident is just the icing on the cake. There’s more su****ious and controversial aspects to Canelo Alvarez than a fighter I can think of right now and what’s worse? We as fans are told he is ‘the man’.

Weight controversies, judge controversies...failed F’king drug tests. There’s nothing more to call it than corruption. How he is supported and defended throughout all these things, especially right now, is disgusting.
