Come on dude... even GGG fans have to acknowledge that he doesn't sell. To make 5 de Mayo your own, people have to pay to see you. Golovkin's numbers are honestly pretty ****

who cares if it flops lol. Boxing fans either will or wont watch. Either way he will be leaving the ring with more money and fame than everyone on this site will ever have. Dudes from kazakhstan which actually makes it even more embarassing. And maybe the weakest on that day since last time mayweather fought a guerreo or washed up never was berto lol

            Since? Even Mayweather-Berto sold 350k+, this won't break 100k.

when Golovkin came on the scene he should've forged his birth certificate to say he was born in Mexico. there's no doubt in my mind that Mexican GGG would've been a god in Mexico already.

Mexicans are loyal and prideful thats why they ride hard for Canelo and nothing that has happened recently will make them abandon him. so don't expect that.

if they stick with the May 5th date they're gonna have to hunt for a Mexican replacement for that simple reason. Mexicans support their guy more than any other fanbase in America. and that support equals money and huge ratings.

all signs point to JCC Jr.

how in the hell will they promote O'Sullivan on a Mexican holiday?

somebody tell Chavez to stop swallowing burgers his phone is about to ring.

As a GGG fan I'll admit that I'm glad he is still fighting on May 5th....but, the proper thing to do is move it to the MGM Grand and make it a HBO World Championship Boxing show.

If he really wants to keep the PPV thing going he will need to schedule Gilberto Ramirez for a 168 lb title clash. That would sell and be huge. O'Sullivan, Deveranchenko, Jacobs, Andrade, Charlo, or whoever else you want to throw into the mix will not sell on PPV. Those are all great fights and I want to see them all but not for $70.

Without GGG clenelo’s number are nothing special. GGG back fighting is want we want to see. Hope ginger gets a year. GGG doesn’t need to be ****ed around by that fallen diva anymore.

PPV buys are numbers on a balance sheet.
The only numbers that count to a real fans are wins, losses and KO's.
Since when did fans become CPA's?

                      I forgot about JCC Jr.

IMO the best option is book Gilberto Rameriez (who apparently said earlier this week he is interested in the fight). Make it at 168 lbs for Rameriez's title. It would sell massive on PPV and big a big hit. If GGG loses....**** it he's still MW champ. If he wins then he successfully moved up (which everyone has been jockeying his nutsack about doing for a long time) and he can vacate the 168 lb belt and still be MW champ. Some one tell Tom L. whats up.
