    The Antonio Tarver/Rocky Balboa Threard?

This is a thread Ive been saying that Im going to make for a week and ever since the fight ended but I always forget.

Anyways, heres the question. What did you guys think about the Rocky people deciding to go with Tarver to be the bad guy? Do you think its weird to get a current big name fighter to play that role or do you think thats better?

Do you think getting a guy like Tarver to play the role was good? Tarver is a great talker but guys like Hopkins, Toney, and so on, seem more menacing and better for a movie like that.

Anyways, here was my problem with Rocky picking a current big name fighter who you know will be fighting top guys. Dont you think that it kind of makes the Rocky movie look ****** now that Tarver just lost to a MiddleWeight? I think this is a fight that quite a few people will have seen by then and wont get it out of there heads. Most people will say, that the movie is not as believeable or as exciting, after they just seen this guy get beat easily.

Imagine seeing Mr. T get his but kicked. It just wouldnt have been the same to then watch him in Rocky. My question is, do you think the Rocky people made a mistake by getting Tarver, and will his loss hurt there sales of the movie, or will it just flat out seem weird that there bad guy just got dominated? because the whole point about the bad guys are they are invinciable, and the baddest man on the planet. No one's going to say that about Tarver even though we know its fake anyway and Tarver would kill all the real guys who played the bad guys, but still
