I dont think he went all out for the KO cos he respected Parkers power and chin so knew he couldn't without opening himself up for getting sparked himself.
He knew all he had to do was go 12 rounds and the home cooked ref and judges would gift it to him.
Played it safe as houses. Avoided the clinch, fought at range and stuck behind his jab...Comment

Parker nullified his right hand all night and was later setting traps that AJ didn't go for. AJ simply not good enough to stop a good defensive moverI actually think he could’ve KO’d Parker if he wasn’t playing it safe. Parker was starting to get fatigued around the 7th round. I’m sure Joshua was too but Parker looked to be in worst shape because of all that movement. There’s nothing wrong with going the distance but this seemed like a fight he could’ve ended if he stepped up the pressure and threw more combos.Comment

The NZ judge had the widest margin my fella. And the ref was Italian coz Parker's team didn't want a British ref. But it's okay...I dont think he went all out for the KO cos he respected Parkers power and chin so knew he couldn't without opening himself up for getting sparked himself.

Its amazing how many Americans have this view:
1) after klitschko fight - rocked by an old man, should've been able to comfortably win (after one of best heavyweight fights ever)
2) after Takam fight - boring, only knocked down once and then the ref stopped in early, (after controlling the fight for every round)
3) after Parker fight - couldn't get past Parkers defense, dodgy ref (despite Joshua comfortably winning the rounds/choosing not to take the risks, and the ref negating Joshua's inside game, arguably one of best in current top heavyweights)
And yet wilder was rocked by Stiverne, knocked sideways by Molina and arguably saved by the bell/extra recoverable time against Ortiz.
Im not going to criticise Wilder at all about those fights , he got through and won them - just pointing out the clear inconsistency based on your own biasComment

I think your version of what happened is much more reasonable and likely than aj liked parker lol that's funnyI dont think he went all out for the KO cos he respected Parkers power and chin so knew he couldn't without opening himself up for getting sparked himself.
