It's a year late, but Loma should jump all over this. Pac is still a huge name, and if he's able to beat him, it would do wonders to hit popularity.

He should have taken this fight last year, but if it's still available in the Fall, he should take it as well.

At 140, it's just one top 140 pounder (but not #1) against one guy who is too small for 140. In other words, a fight between zero top two fighters at 140, instead of a fight between #1 and #2 at 135, providing Loma gets past the much bigger Linares in May.
Everyone, including me, thought that Sugar Ray Leonard was way too small for Marvin Hagler, but we were wrong! Hagler wasn't 40 either, he was 33! Ray went from Welterweight to Middleweight, and beat one of the most feared men in boxing! SRL had good advice for Kell Brook, and I think it would be good advice for Lomachenko too!

Boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard says Kell Brook will have to be in the best shape of his life if he is to cause an upset and defeat Gennady Golovkin.

Even at his age and have taken a step back Pac I don't think would have much trouble with Lucas... versus Loma it would be better for Loma to be at 135 he's very not big even at that way and 140 he would be giving away too much to Pac...

It all depends on how Loma looks at 135. He’s not a big guy at all and it’s not like he’s knocking people out left and right. He’s making them quit, yeah, but it’s mostly his volume punching that gets the job done.

Pacquiao should retire in my opinion and should in no way be overlooking a heavy puncher like Matthysse. But let’s say he wants to fight one more I wouldn’t mind a Lomachenko showdown. Pacquiao could probably be a bit faster and powerful at 140. And the fact that Loma is young and a great fighter yet would be coming up to 140 for the first time would equate to a more even level playing field for both. We’ll see what happens.

but according to you idiots manny has no control over his career he fights who arum tells him to fight. arum would no doubt want to have pac pass to the torch to crawford he's undefeated and american. could it be arum isn't confident in crawford just yet. I mean if tiny gamboa badly rocked crawford you can just imagine what pac would do.

                  October 27, 2017:

In a report by Philboxing.com’s Dong Secuya, the 30-year-old fighter was asked if he is still open to a showdown with Pacquiao, who remains a major player in the welterweight division.

“That's not the question. The question is, is Pacquiao willing to fight me?” Crawford (32-0, with 23 KOs) fired back.

The Omaha, Nebraska-based boxer, who has recently unified the IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO, has long been considered as an opponent for the ageing Pacquiao.

But for various reasons, the fight never materialized, with Pacquiao’s longtime trainer Freddie Roach not keen on pitting his ward against the younger, more dangerous Crawford.

Roach had stated that 38-year-old Pacquiao might already be too old to take on Crawford, which could well be true given the Filipino icon’s previous performance against Australian Jeff Horn.

Pacquiao struggled against the burly Horn, a relatively limited fighter, when they fought at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia last month. Pacquiao appeared to be a shell of his former self in the bout that it’s not hard for observers to predict he’ll have an even more difficult time against the highly skilled Crawford.

Terence Crawford’s migration to the 147-pound class puts him on a possible collision course with Manny Pacquiao.

                  December 1, 2017:

Roach told a small group of reporters following a press conference for the Cotto-Ali fight that Bob Arum wants to make a Manny Pacquiao-Terence Crawford fight in 2018. The 85-year-old promoter previously was reluctant to match Pacquiao, who’ll turn 39 on December 17, against the 30-year-old Crawford, presumably because the highly skilled Crawford would’ve presented a troublesome style for Pacquiao...

“Arum wants Pacquiao to fight Crawford,” Roach said. “I’m a little bit concerned about that fight. It’s a tough fight. Crawford’s a young guy, coming up and so forth, and Manny probably has seen his best days behind him. But I will still train him and get him ready for that fight, if that does happen. And they’re pushing for it, so it might..."

NEW YORK – Freddie Roach revealed something significant Thursday while discussing the older fighters he trains facing younger boxers. The Hall-of-Fame trainer w

Pacman should stay away from Loma. He dont want that work. Loma would totally destroy him. As someone said earlier, it would be like ALI vs Holmes all over again. Too quick for Pacman and too much stamina too.
