      YES!!

The WBSS is the best thing to happen to the sport in a long time. Please bring all the champs together and lets see who the man is at 118. These tournaments are always a good idea. I don't follow 118 that much but I would for a tournament for sure. Keep up the great work, WBSS!!

Not super invested in the 118lbers.

I do like Burnett, but he might be a lil too green, inexperienced + not as ripe yet vs the other likely opponents for this one so idk how I like his chances here.

            Yea I saw that.

Not surprised with the Schaefer news. Schaefer hasn't really seemed like a part of the WBSS since those first couple months. So that whole thing didn't really pan out for either side there unfortunately. I don't think it reflects THAT badly on Schaefer cuz I still say selling these tournaments to HBO or Showtime was gonna be tough with so many fights in a row + none or few linked up with the premium channel. And only 1 US fighter.

And disappointed they are not making it more US friendly in year two, but I guess with the growing pain of season 1 w/o a US deal they just made a decision to go w/o it of their own accord in season 2.

I think if the WBSS stays around it'll make its way to the US eventually in a more serious way & with more US friendly fighters involved.

Cut it out with the midgets, and do a LHW WBSS tournament.

                Makes sense

Folks can say what they want, but the only way that these tournaments have any longevity is by targeting weight classes where the top talent are open to the opportunity and/or the belts can be found. 118 works.

Jaime McDonnell/'Monster' Inoue winner, Ryan Burnett, Zolani Tete, and three more names.

If they can get all those fighters there are some excellent fights to be made.

118 is one of those divisions where promoters often dont really know what to do with the fighters to get big money, so a tourney would be a great option for them.

Yeah would rather have the top fighters of an unmarketable division than sub par fighters from a good one.

I like the idea that we are finding the true king in the final like with the Cruisers
