The first fight was not that good. Not merit of a rematch.

2000 punches thrown. And you can not see the the speed of punches thrown.

2 good fighters obviously, but I don't see how the outcome will be any different.

          Are you nuts?

The first fight was potential fight of the year candidate.

Santa Cruz became a three-weight world champion in front of 13,109 fans at the Staples Center.

Max Deluca scored the fight a draw at 114-114, judges Jesse Reyes and Steve Morrow scored it 117-111 for Santa Cruz.

Abner came out so strong. He came right at Santa Cruz but Santa Cruz figured him out. Santa Cruz stayed on the outside with the jab.

The card averaged 1.217 million on ESPN and peaked towards the end at 1.641 million viewers. The figures were recorded as the highest on ESPN since 1998. The bout was also televised on Spanish only network ESPN Deportes and averaged 355,000 viewers, another record.

So all in all not too shabby!

i think its finally been proven that nobody ducked rigo lmao. He fought lowest level of competition because he is low level low iq competition. But yeah mares is half blind and santa cruz is a bore. Another **** rematch that played out for couple yrs.

I don't get why PBC does **** like this. Keep fights in house, but protect guys like Frampton, Santa Cruz, and Mares, from your best in house fighter at the weight class, which is Russell Jr. This fight doesn't do anything for me.
