Comments Thread For: Weekend Review: NSAC Does Right on Canelo, Joshua Looks Flat

A fighter who supposedly is taking the world by storm is supposed to lift fans out of their seats, not put them to sleep. And that's what Joshua did on Saturday night in Wales, although he had a lot of help from Joseph Parker and an overly zealous referee. Joshua earned a unanimous decision the first of his career to unify three major heavyweight titles but could never catch a reluctant Parker enough to inflict meaningful damage, which made for a dull, tactical fight before an estimated 78,000 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

There's a reason why the Ring sacked Rosenthal and he's on this cesspit of a site now........he's garbage.

Though I don't think Canelo did it purposely, it sounds like the NSAC is following policy, which is the right thing.
And, yes, Joshua looks flat for the 2nd time in a row. I think he can rise above that but it's going to mean taking chances and that might be a psychological wall. I think he only pushes when he's pushed.

"Anthony Joshua: Yawwwwwwwwwn." That 2 fights in a row, as far as I'm concerned! Hopefully Big Baby will add some flavor to the division!

Crazy that you sitting writing "articles" in your boxers have succumbed to a former FBI agent and his investigation. There's utter confusion in the world right now that some random boxing blogger using surnames wasn't accurate in his opinions.

AJ needs to start talking like a champion and act like one. He comes across as a sheltered wimp who needs a cheering squad wherever he goes. Mental midget.

The problem I have with the fight is it seemed Joshua was content on playing it safe and going 12 rounds. This is the same guy that decided to push Klitschko even when was danger of getting stopped himself. He was way more determined against Klitschko than he was against Parker. Even with Takam he took more chances. Takam was just a lot more slippery than expected and made the fight more difficult but atleast he was still trying to stop the fight.

This same writer never said Mayweather was ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz though lol. I love the American bias.

Joshua dominated a guy who used nonsensical movement and kept running in and ducking his head into constant clinching with a referee who kept breaking up the action and wouldn't allow Joshua to land that inside uppercut - nobody can have exciting KO performances 100% - Joshua is close though. Mayweather has the same performance the fan boys on this site are telling us how "smart" he was and how the opponent should have done more because Mayweather, well, just doesn't fight that way.

Fk the fan boys and their double standards.
