Don't act like obtaining that WBC belt will be a walk in the park(er) because if it was then the (Wilder) fight would already be signed like the Martin and Parker fights.

After all, wilder didn't beat a champ to claim the belt, It was vacant.

Whether it’s vacant or not it still has the same impact. I mean the fight against Klitschko collected IBO and WBA. That was clearly a much harder Match up than Martin for the IBF or Stiverne for WBC. Its more about putting yourself forward to go for them. For all the complaints about Joshua’s matchmaking, if it was so easy why did no one else do it? Wilder has been about far longer than Joshua and could have fought Klitschko, Parker and Martin before Joshua was upto his 15th fight had he been willing.

The odd thing is that the expectation is on joshua to have top 10 fights every time already. Wilder seemed to only be challenged about it within the last year, before then no one complained about his opponents at all
