Comments Thread For: Whyte: I'd Fight Povetkin Next - A Good Jab Beats Him All Day!

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBO, IBF, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, admits that Alexander Povetkin is one of the frontrunners to face his superstar boxer next. Both of them were in action this past Saturday night, before a wild crowd of nearly 80,000 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. In the co-feature, Povetkin pulled off a vicious fifth round knockout of Olympic bronze medal winner David Prince.

should be a good scrap...against povetkin you have to make it a physical battle like wlad did and hope or try to hurt him along the way..plus age is catching up to him

Initially, Povetkin was said that Joshua will be next.

But here again from UK -> lies, dishonesty and neo-colonialist mentally....

They howl like a wolf about Russia but keep mute when some child are being ****d (Rotherham child sexual exploitation and Peterborough sex abuse case.)

It's gonna be a good fight. Whyte fears nobody, he is a brave man with a lion's heart.

As they say, the trick in matchmaking is to make both parties believe they can win. Povetkin may actually choose to fight Whyte instead of holding out for AJ because he is confident he can beat him. If Povetkin beats Whyte, he would be considered a threat to AJ. More so if he KOs Whyte - remember, Povetkin KOd Takam, something AJ couldn't do. So we shall see...

Here we go again, we all know that Whyte fight makes zero sense for Povetkin, Povetkin will fight Joshua, while Whyte fights Wilder next..

Whyte vs Povetkin is a great fight and if Whyte wins he probably becomes WBA mandatory aswell as WBC. Same prize for Povetkin. The winner is a clear and obvious fight for Joshua.

Wilder is running from Whyte that much is clear.

Props to Whyte if he actually fights him next, or Ortiz, or Parker....
