Unquestionably Muhammed Ali, he transcended the sport and became more than just a fighter. He became a champion in and out of the ring for his stance on not only his anti-war stance but his human rights stance as well.

Mike Tyson was NOT good for the sport of boxing ar eyou ****ing kidding me? He was the single most destructive person to the sport we've ever seen. The ****, the ear biting, trying to break a guy's arm in the ring, going to prison, the traffic altercations, the press confrences, the wanting to eat Lennox Lewis' children, the pre-fight brawls, the dude was a ****ing lunatic!

I also think "Sugar" Ray Robinson was highly influential to the sport. He came about in a time where racial tensions were at an all time high and he fought a lot of injustice throughout his career. He was the first complete fighter in my eyes, he had it all. He was down to earth, very humble, and had the skill to beat anybody. Most of his losses came at the end of his career. We've never seen a fighter like him before him and we still haven't since him.
