Boxing just like any business, more is better than less. It's a volumes game. Firstly the Joshua - Wilder is a big fight because of the hype. If Hearn can keep it in-house then he maximises revenues. Hearn has a a few heavyweights whom he can also feed to each other like Whyte which is why he will try to sign every heavyweight he can. Hearn is also trying to get into the American market and Wilder is the most high profile heavyweight whom no one knows. It's just not Wilder he is trying to sign but any heavyweight including Miller. The only good thing about Wilder is he has had 40 fights but nothing special so please do not use being signed as a special quality.

Just about every title defense Wilder has had is a Haymon fighter .

Joshua will control Wilder with the jab, eventually wear him down and frustrate him, then catch him when he starts windmilling out of desperation. And then you Wilderholics will either be silent afterwards or come up with some lames excuses.

Meanwhile, if Wilder wins, I'll praise him just like I did for the last fight. And I'll likely comment on what I thought Joshua did wrong.

And for the record, I'm a casual fan of Joshua. I never look at a fighter as perfect, unbeatable. The fight game rarely works that way.
