You can't shine a turd. He has won 3 of the major sanctioning belts in 21 fights, he has progressed fast. That is why he has been able to crossover.

The Floyd-Manny fight was ready in 2009. By then they had both beaten De la Hoya, both were crossover stars, and ppv draws.

In the case of Joshua-Wilder, only one of them is a crossover star, and only one is a ppv star, and that is in the UK only. Its a very different situation and if you apply common sense, this fight warrants US ppv, and it really isn't there yet.

Realistically I think common sense prevails. Wilder will fight Whyte in the summer, fall, and Joshua makes a US debut. Wilder and Joshua will fight first quarter 2019. If anything else happens, I would be surprised.

Wilder probably only deserves 25-30% - he isn't 30% the draw of AJ but AJ can't make more money fighting anyone else, not even close to the amount he could make fighting Wilder.

UK vs USA, two undefeated HW champions, knockout artists, for complete lineal / unified status. It doesn't get much bigger than that.

They should just give Wilder 40%, this is the fight that boxing fans need, no other fight in the HW division makes sense

I say make the fight. Lets Joshua get all the UK revenue and Wilder can have all the US revenue.

Nah man, Broner was greatly promoted. That's why you proclaimed him the next fighter of the decade without him accomplishing anything.

                  ...and what has Wilder done?

Windmills and inches out a fight against 45 year old Ortiz???

I'm not a fan of either guy, but the people acting like Wilder is the man are baffoons.

Ortiz was dominating Deontay until he got caught. All the respect in the world for Deontay because his heart is un be lieveable. His power is also game changing.

Deontay is very ordinary and so is AJ. AJ is the clear draw here though and it's not up for debate. You can debate it, but you will lose lol

It's not an interesting division right now. With Fury in limbo, Wilder is the only interesting fight right now.

Aj fans are reminding me of pacquiao fans

They both love to defend or ignore the promoter (bob arum & eddie hearn) purposely stalling and ducking.

They then just blindly blame the opposition even though evidence proves otherwise.
