Then there weren’t any serious negotiations.
What a fighter says in public has nothing to do with what happens at the negotiating table. At most it’s a starting point. You sit down and one side says 50/50 and the other side says 75/25 and you work toward an agreement.
Hearn knows this. He didn’t want to make the fight so instead he made an excuse.Comment

When in negotiations you don't go running to the press demanding ridiculous splits or no fight. This is common damn sense. It's also common damn sense Wilder did this because he didn't want the fight. Then there weren’t any serious negotiations.

Hearn has been ‘running to the press’ talking about demands and percentages. And does it quite often.
It’s not ‘common sense’ that he doesn’t want the fight ... AJ is the one who has said, on the record, that he’s not ready for Wilder and needs more experience and that he wants the fight in 2019. Common sense says that he’s telling the truth.Comment

What are you talking about Hearn lives in the press. And Parker’s side talked continuously throughout negotiations. Even though a damn press conference and sh it all over AJ. Didn’t deter the negotiation process one bit.Comment

Yep, absolutely!
Never seen this type of behavior from a unified heavyweight champion and his team!
