Comments Thread For: David Price: I Put it All on The Line, I Loved Every Minute!

It was a brutal scene for the packed crowd of nearly 80,000 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, when they witnessed Alexander Povetkin of Russia retain his position as the mandatory challenger for the WBA, WBO heavyweight belts after brutally knocking out David Price in the fifth round of an action-packed fight.

Price is a real nice guy who I’ve met personally several times, but in all honesty he shouldn’t be boxing anymore and certainly not at that level, he’s taking punishment he should not have to. If he still has the desire to compete, fair enough it’s his life but he should NOT be fed to a guy at the level of Povetkin just to help hype AJ’s next potential opponent to the deluded idiots in this country.

He's too slow. He would need to get in much much better physical condition in order to be able to move that body around in order to avoid getting knocked out.

                Good health to him.

you don't hear too many boxers say that they love getting knocked out.

even fewer saying that they'd do it all over again.

                    Priceless!
