Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker: What The Hell Was That?

Joseph Parker's movement and boxing skills impressed me, but he wasn't landing much. He seemed to have forgotten the stick from "stick and move." Anthony Joshua was just standing in front of the guy. They both missed a fuckton of punches, and whenever they landed hard shots, the garbage referee separated them. That referee needs to be fired. Dude straight shit his pants every time the fight was getting good.

Those scorecards were the icing on the cake tho. 118-110x2, and 119-109? Joshua's the real Blacknelo, and Hearn is the British De La Coka. I don't even think Clenelo got a 119-109 before.

Styles make fights and Parker didn't want to engage. Kinda makes sense from Parker's angle... earn career high purse and fight a **** defensive fight so to not get KO'd....and he still may get another fight payday.

Parker didn't come to fight at all. i've never seen Parker that passive and defensive before. I expected Parker to be a lot more aggressive and take chances. AJ just did what he had to do. It wasn't exciting but he got the job done and a clear UD. Now. let's move on to the next opponent....

blatant corruption. that's what that was.

"absolutely nothing happened in this round. Meh.. let's give it to AJ." that was the logic of those judges. those scores cannot be justified by even the most rabid AJ groupie.

and that ref being in only his FOURTH fight should set off red flags. he was paid off and in the pocket.

Parker did all the body work and was the superior defender all night. he nullified AJ's right hand all night long. you can make a stronger case for Parker winning. and if you try to argue AJ won you'd have a hard time justifying those cards without looking like a biased fck.

styles make fights. In this case we have one with an absurdly low boxing iq. And another who actually can’t throw a proper punch and take risks.

That, and the ref got involved too much.

UK reffs need to let the fight go more instead of constantly being involved and stopping the flow.

I should have realized that AJ was going to play this fight cautiously and not go for any type of k/o, when he started talking up mayweathers 12 rnders just doing enough to get the job done.
                Pathetic in my opinion.
