Hughie Furys stock just went up massively!

Hughie Fury won that fight against Parker in my opinion. But I remember after that fight everyone saying how rubbish and overrated Parker was. Yet he just went all 12 rounds with Joshua and didn't look in any trouble at any point in the fight.

Hughie is only 23 and is only getting better!

Hughie ran and flicked out a bítch jab that didn’t connect all night.

Had he stepped in and threw some punches from time to time, he very well could have won.

Hughie Fury showed he's hard to catch clean and is defensively responsible.

      The White Kevin Johnson.

He probably could have stepped in with the right hand but he couldn't or wouldn't. I think he's a good fighter. I don't think he can get above European level though.

But I suppose its worth noting he's nearly a decade younger than someone like Wilder.

I always rag on Hughie Fury, but I said he'd be world champion one day just based on his performance with Parker because this is the weakest HW era ever. This AJ-Parker fight just made me even more sure.

Hughie Fury struggled with Fred Kassi - his last fight before Parker and would have lost if not for an 'accidental' headbutt. Hughie Fury is a carbon-copy of Tyson Fury's style except with a 5 inch less reach, more than 3 inches less height, much less experience, less weight, less strength, much less power, less skills / variety etc.

Tyson Fury would have UD'd Parker that same night and shut the little man out how a big man is supposed to. Look at Chisora 2 and the Christian Hammer fight - that is how a big man with reach, height and a jab is supposed to deal with little men, by completely neutralising them.

When people like Hughie Fury can hang with the big boys it either says Hughie is something special (he is not) or this era is fuccing embarrassing (it is)

I need to see more of Fury. He got slated a bit after the Parker fight, more-so for being negative, but I thought he was competitive against a good fighter.

I'm not sure his ceiling is that high, but I'm interested in seeing fight again against a higher level of opponent.

Hughie could be good. Had he threw a few more flurries per round, he could have nicked a lot of rounds v Parker.

He thought he could do pick up a title v Parker the way Tyson did v Wlad, but Tyson was always in control.

If Hughie had a little more experience of fighting at a decent level and a bit more ring savvy, he might have had the beating of Parker.

                  LOL idk about massively.

For the life of me I don't see any Tyson level talent in Hughie. He's the second tier Fury by a mile. This mfer can barely connect on his punches he seems so worried about getting hit. Okay he's fast, but thats all he really gots going for him. He's got virtually no power so he's not gonna keep a lot of these hard hitting HW's honest.

Besides Fury, you can make a case that Parker also lost to Andy Ruiz. Parker's just not that good.
