There is no way Eddie Hearn is going to make that final fight for all the marbles and the Lineal title. Imagine if AJ became Lineal, undisputed champion and a free agent. Ain't gonna happen. It's Hearn who doesn't want it, not AJ or Deontay Wilder. The Saudis, Nigerians and Dana White would be throwing money at AJ.
Anthony Joshua has one fight left on his Matchroom contract...

People don't seem to realize, there is a tension between AJ and Hearn. AJ genuinely wants to unify all of the belts ASAP. Hearn meanwhile is terrified of losing his cashcow, so is doing all he can to stall the Wilder fight until after the contract has been renewed.Comment

The AJ-Matchroom deal is done and will be announced soon. You are trying to make something out of nothing. Eddie has repeatedly said the fight would happen before the end of 2018.Comment

Fairs, that makes sense and with guys like Slick Usyk and Iron Gassiev saying they will move up to heavy I can see why AJ wants to do it ASAP..Comment

If Joshua really wanted it he would TELL Hearns to make that fight next. There is no way Eddie Hearn is going to make that final fight for all the marbles and the Lineal title. Wait, what else should he do if it's for his final fight? There is no way Eddie Hearn is going to make that final fight for all the marbles and the Lineal title. Hearn doesnt have any other heavyweights who are a threat to AJ and could possibly snatch the belts from him.
So his last fight would either be
AJ Vs Wilder => Biggest money maker for everyone involve (including Hearn)
or
AJ Vs Whyte => Less money, no chance for whyte to win the belt and keep the belts for hearn.
So logically, if AJ only has one fight left on the contract, Hearn should look to maximize the revenue and take the wilder fight.Comment
