I really hope this is a joke, but given Loeffler`s record with GGG, something is eerily familiar in that kind of development. If this is true indeed, and GGG would take this fight, I would stop being GGG fan and not care about his career anymore. Why should I care, if he doesn`t care?
Also, if this true, I guess GGG should part ways with Loeffler once and for all. Dude, sign with Hearn or something. The guy who thinks big and acts big.

The NSAC commission has been pretty unforgiving with PED sh^t lately if you follow MMA. Jon Jones might be getting the axe for 4yrs (I'm thinking at LEAST 2yrs for sure) & I know Canelo is gonna come in there or have his people equally as clueless as Jon was up against the NSAC.

I think 9-12mos (so Nov 2018 out of PED jail) is more likely.

I say wait & see. I highly doubt this is happening this year now so GGG should figure things out with BJS or give Jacobs his rematch. And he can do that in June/July. Then fight again towards the end of the year & then setup the Canelo rematch for May 2019 if Canelo's ready then.

Fat Dan was saying today that they'll give him a year on paper but then knock it back to six months because of the circumstances.

Remember, the head of the NSAC isn't hired by some criteria, he's a political appointee put in charge by the governor. After Golovkin went on the offensive to the media they had to do something, but there's no way they're going to push the fight out to next year knowing what it will cost the state in revenue if MSG happens to decide to go ahead and make a deal to bring it to NY.

I don't think Fat Dan knows. He's just assuming/guessing. I'm still seeing newspaper guys surprised & trying to backtrack there previous strong opinions this would even reach this point lol.

And do you think Canelo even comes back to Vegas? He's shown himself to be a cat who holds grudges, rightly or wrongly.

Granted the money is gonna be better in Vegas, but I'm not entirely comfortable saying Canelo would fight in Vegas anytime soon over this issue. And maybe more likely I could even see him holding a grudge against GGG. If GGG loses between now & Canelo's return I'd bet Canelo never effs with him again. Plus I'm not confident he'll be in a hurry to fight a big fight with more Vada testing either lol in particular vs GGG necessarily.

Canelo is the money guy. He can fight whoever & make bank.

Until the fight is formally announced i'll take all this shhh with a grain of salt. If he makes this fight, so be it, don't support it personally but then again this is all speculation until a contract is signed.
