Good, boxing is not a circus side show. Keep your ass in the seat. When you both have gloves on then it's time to go face to face in the ring.Comment

I don’t think Wilder should have acted on hearsay, skysport have been trying to hype Wilder for the last 18 months because of AJ. They love confrontation themselves, Bellew v Haye or Haye chisora for examples, I think the real issue here is Fury and Whyte are going to be there, and it would turn into some WWE type of stuff with everyone calling each other out to their faces, with Fury ranting, Whyte getting in Wilder face also I didn’t think he wanted that. Good move though as I didn’t think the winner on Saturday deserves their moment being taken away by those 3 boxers.Comment

I'm not sure if the Wilder fanboys are just willfully ignoring facts at this point, but I'll try to bring some sense into this conversation with a list of "facts"
1) Restraining orders aren't given out like confetti. The British justice system means you need to file a case to be heard by judge and then have it granted based on evidence of actual abuse(physical, verbal or mental).
Conclusion: Utter BS of the highest order. A clear lie. It's not how the British justice system works.
2) Getting in the ring has been covered multiple times, but let's do it again. In multiple interviews with different broadcasters Hearn and Joshua have publicly stated that Wilder will be welcome into the ring when all the official procedures are completed such as official decision and interviews with fighters. They said they didn't want a scripted entrance.
Conclusion: Wilder seems to be making excuses not to turn up. All British and American fans would boo the house down if Wilder wasn't allowed in after Hearn and Joshua's public statements. They would never live it down, forever being called cowards. Again I call BS in this one.
3) Extra security. I can believe this claim, as it's probably to stop him just jumping in WWE style while Joshua is still celebrating/mourning his win/loss.
Conclusion: probably true, but see point 2 to understand it more about timing.
I'm not sure what Wilder's real reasons were for not turning up, but my guess is there's been a misunderstanding between the parties because they're not communicating directly, but rather through he said she said interviews and social media posts.Comment
